Γιώργος Ζαμπέτας (Giorgos Zampetas, sometimes romanized as George Zambetas) was a well-known bouzouki musician. He was born in 25 January 1925 in Athens but his origins are from Kithnos. He died in 10 March 1992. His parents were Μιχάλης Ζαμπέτας (Mihalis Zampetas), a barber and Μαρίκα Μωραΐτη (Marika Moraiti), niece of a well-known baritone of those years.
